Where are you located?    

Our 7,000 square foot facility is conveniently located at 1031 E. Mountain St, Building 309, Suite 103.  Click here for a map and an aerial view.

What can I expect on my first day?

We know CrossFit can be very intimidating so your first day will not be very intense or hard. We will lead you through a warm-up of basic movements, teach you 1-3 new basic skills and then give you a workout in which the intensity (how hard the workout is) will be entirely up to you.

Do I need to be fit before starting CrossFit?

CrossFit is for anyone, regardless of your fitness level or how long it has been since you’ve worked out.  No matter what shape you are in or how active you are, all workouts can be scaled to meet your fitness abilities. Whatever level you are at now, you go at the workout as hard to you can, getting stronger, faster and fitter each day. We also start each client off in our Foundations classes.  These are small classes, with no more than 4 people, where you will learn the movements we use in CrossFit workouts.  During these personal training sessions, you will also meet with our CrossFit certified trainers to discuss your goals, learn all the basic movements and complete multiple workouts.

As a woman, I don’t want to get big and bulky from CrossFit?

This is a common question we get among women when it comes to women and CrossFit.  The myth is that if you lift heavy weights you will get burly with muscles.  The easiest way to answer this is NO.  Women don’t have sufficient testosterone to develop huge muscles.  Instead, what building lean muscle will do for women is help accelerate their metabolism and burn more fat.  CrossFit will however improve your overall strength, stamina and endurance.

Am I too old or too young to start CrossFit?

Because CrossFit uses natural, functional movements anybody can do it. Kids today play on jungle gyms, run, jump, and throw and that’s exactly what we do in CrossFit. You are never too old to start working out! Remember every workout is as hard as YOU make it.  Our clients range in age from 16 to 65.

How often do I need to come in?

This depends on how active you are outside of the gym.  For some people, two days a week is enough to see results and improve their overall fitness level.  For those who are not as active outside them gym, we recommend between 3 – 5 days depending on your goals.  Our coaches will work with you to figure out what is best for you based on the results you want to achieve.
